Refund Policy

At Sylva Stitch Studio, we want you to be happy with your booking and confident in the services we provide. This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are issued for workshops, classes, and studio hire sessions.

1. Workshop and Session Bookings

If you can no longer attend a session you’ve booked, please let us know as far in advance as possible.

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the start of your session will receive a 75% refund of the price paid.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the start of your session are non-refundable.

  • You are welcome to transfer your place to another person if you cannot attend.

  • “No-shows” on the day of the session are non-refundable.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval.

2. Cancellations by Sylva Stitch Studio

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule a workshop, you will be offered the choice of:

  • A full refund, or

  • A transfer to a new date or alternative session (subject to availability).

We are not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred as a result of cancellation.

3. Gift Vouchers and Promotions

  • Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • If you use a voucher to pay for a session and cancel within the refund-eligible window, we will reissue the value as a voucher credit for future use.

  • Promotional discounts or offers cannot be applied retroactively.

 

4. Payment Plans

If you are on a payment plan, any refunds due will be calculated based on the amount you have paid to date, minus any applicable non-refundable portions under this policy.

 

5. Online Products or Digital Materials

If you purchase digital/downloadable materials, please note these items are non-refundable once the files have been accessed or downloaded.

Sylva Stitch Studio is a place to slow down and enjoy the process of making something with your hands. I host sewing workshops and create small batches of clothing made using sustainable fabrics. My studio is based in Hilperton near Trowbridge, within easy reach of Holt, Bradford-on-Avon, Bath, Corsham, Melksham, Devizes and Westbury.
