Welcome to Sylva Stitch Studio. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and policies for using our website and booking our services. By accessing this website or making a booking, you agree to these Terms in full.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. About Sylva Stitch Studio

Sylva Stitch Studio provides sewing workshops, courses, and studio hire. Our website is hosted on the Wix.com platform, which allows us to display information, take bookings, and process payments securely.

Throughout these Terms, “we”, “our”, and “us” refer to Sylva Stitch Studio, and “you” refers to the customer or website user.

2. Booking and Payment

All workshops, courses, and sessions must be booked in advance via our website.
Full payment is usually required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
We may offer deposit or payment plan options for certain workshops; details will be provided at checkout.
Your booking is only confirmed once payment has been received and a confirmation email has been issued.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

We understand that plans can change, but as a small business we must adhere to the following policy:

Cancellations by you:
If you can no longer attend a session you’ve booked, please let us know as far in advance as possible.
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the session start time will receive a 75% refund of the price paid.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session start time are non-refundable.
- You are welcome to transfer your place to another person if you are unable to attend.
- “No-shows” on the day are non-refundable.
Cancellations by us:
In the unlikely event we need to cancel or reschedule a workshop, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to a new date.
We are not responsible for any travel or accommodation costs incurred.

4. Gift Vouchers and Promotions

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and can be used towards any eligible workshop or service.
Promotional offers or discounts cannot be applied retroactively or combined unless stated otherwise.

5. Using the Studio

When attending a workshop or hiring the studio:

Please treat all equipment, tools, and materials with care.
You are responsible for using all equipment safely and for following any health and safety guidance provided.
Sylva Stitch Studio cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to your personal belongings during your time in the studio.

6. Skill Levels

Some workshops require a minimum level of sewing experience.
Please read the course description carefully before booking to ensure it suits your current ability. If you’re unsure, feel free to contact us for advice before booking.

7. Intellectual Property

All written content, patterns, photographs, and materials provided as part of our workshops or on this website are protected by copyright.
You may use them for personal use only. Reproduction or commercial use without permission is not allowed.

8. Liability

While every effort is made to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment, participation in workshops is at your own risk.
Sylva Stitch Studio will not be liable for:

Any injury sustained while participating in classes or using the studio
Damage or loss of personal property
Any indirect or consequential losses

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously. Our collection and use of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

We are committed to providing accessible services both online and in our studio.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
